Columbine Genealogy - Our History in Photos

Just as we enjoy our family's photo albums, it is fun to see Columbine's photos.  For over 50 years, we have been lucky to have willing and able leaders.  Click on Past Presidents.  With their guidance, our Boards of Directors have always charted a path to success.

In 2008, as we reached the milestone of 35 years, some dedicated members gathered information to create and publish a 35th Anniversary Book.  The book highlights the impressive activities involved in the first 35 years.  We appreciate the efforts of these members, and you can read the book here.  Click on 35th Anniversary Book.

Our photos remind us of special times, routine ones, and even some hard work.  Some things have changed - for instance the technology involved with Zoom meetings and membership software. But the core remains the same - learning and teaching genealogy.  We have shared our individual family stories, forging friendships and encouraging one another along the way.  You can see all these things in these photos - the work as well as the fun - and the food, too.

Many thanks to those who contributed their photos to be included in this Columbine History Story which is shown below.   Livie Grogan was the Columbine photographer for many years, and many of the photos came from her. Others who provided photos are Becky Clark, Nan Reubert, Jeanie Blanchard, Marylee Hagen, and Maggie Schmidt.  Our thanks also to those who contributed in other ways.
