A Member? If you are a Columbine member, please take full advantage of the perks that you have. Being a member will provide you with information and assistance in your ongoing quest for those elusive ancestors, as well as the support and camaraderie of other members. Not a Member? Of course, you’ll want to attend our excellent program presentations and Skills Sessions, which are open to the public. But there’s more - if you are NOT a member, look at what you are missing!
Membership Perks
- Special Interest Groups, including hands-on classes to guide you in your research or to serve as a helpful refresher. You can participate in groups that focus on Basic Beginning Research, Deeds and Records, Early Church Records, Family Tree Maker, as well as a Do-Over (or Go-Over) plan using Thomas MacEntee’s workbook. These groups are led by knowledgeable researchers, and other class members frequently can share useful hints.

Watch videos of previous meetings in case you miss one or want a reminder of the speakers’ key points. The recordings are posted for various periods of time, based on the agreements that are made with the speakers.

Writers Group is made up of members who want to write their family history stories. This is a friendly, supportive group who review one another’s stories to help with content and clarity.
