SIG

So you’ve taken a DNA test. Now what?

Over the next several months, Columbine Genealogy is offering a Special Interest Group (SIG) on this very subject to its members. Rather than being taught, this discussion group will be hosted and guided by one of our members and lean on the collective growth of the participants. We will use the well-respected guide entitled “The Family Tree Guide to DNA Testing and Genetic Genealogy” (2nd Edition, 2019) by Blaine T. Bettinger. (ISBN 1440300577; available from Amazon and other retailers in paperback and electronic editions)

Join your host Gary Witt via Zoom on September 22nd at 2 p.m. MT for a kickoff Zoom meeting to hear what awaits those who want to invest some time in learning more about this deceptively intriguing and complicated aspect of genealogy.

It is strongly recommended that you obtain the book and have had at least one DNA kit tested in order to get the most out of this SIG. Participation will determine the cadence and duration of the SIG.

Send an email to education@columbinegenealogy.com to join the group and get the Zoom link.

Special Interest Groups are a benefit available to members only. If you are not currently a member, please consider joining today to enjoy exclusive benefits, expert guidance and a supportive community. Click here to join.
