End Witch Hunts by Sarah Jack
Presenter: Sarah Jack with contributions from Columbine members Chuck Towne & Neil Johnson
Sarah Jack of Aurora turns a dark family history into a force for good—as a descendant of New England witch trial victims, she founded the nonprofit End Witch Hunts to address modern witchcraft accusations through education and advocacy. This Colorado-based advocate also co-hosts two podcasts diving into witch hunts past and present, while championing the exoneration of historical victims. Her efforts have caught global attention, landing features in The New York Times and NPR.
Sarah Jack brings the world of witch hunts to life for modern audiences, showing how accusations of witchcraft still cause harm around the globe today. Learn about the international effort to end these injustices and the Massachusetts Witch-Hunt Justice Project’s work to exonerate eight individuals convicted in Boston between 1647 and 1688.
